STRAWBERRY STUFFED FRENCH TOAST

Serves 4 to 5

Ingredients:

  • Cream Cheese, 225 grams
  • Honey, 1 tablespoon
  • Strawberry, 25 grams (diced)
  • Brioche Bread, 6 slices
  • Milk, 120ml
  • Eggs, 2
  • Vanilla Extract, ½ teaspoon
  • Cinnamon, ½ teaspoon
  • Salt, ¼ teaspoon
  • Unsalted Butter, 1½ tablespoon
  • Icing Sugar, to garnish

Preparations:

  1. In a medium bowl, add in the cream cheese, honey, diced strawberries and mix well to combine. Set aside for later use.
  2. In a large bowl, add in milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and mix well to combine. Set aside for later use. 

Instructions:

  1. Spread the cream cheese mixture on 3 slices of brioche bread, and seal with the remaining 3 slices of brioche bread on top.

  2. In a 28cm Thermos® KFH-028 Deep Non-Stick Frying Pan, heat butter over low-medium heat for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. While waiting, dip the stuffed brioche bread in the egg and milk mixture. Soak well to ensure all sides are covered in the batter. Immediately transfer the bread onto the Frying Pan.
  4. Cook the bread for 3 to 4 minutes on one side until brown, then flip and cook on the other side for another 3 minutes. Repeat for the remaining 2 stuffed brioche bread.

  5. Remove from the Frying Pan and garnish with extra strawberries, honey and icing sugar. Enjoy!

  • This recipe is based on using the Thermos® KFH-028 Deep Non-Stick Frying Pan. You may adjust the ingredients quantities based on the size of the Frying Pan.
