PURPLE YAM SWEET SOUP

Serves 3 to 4

Ingredients:

  • Water, 700ml
  • Purple Yam, 250 grams (cut into bite-sized)
  • Ginger, 25 grams (peeled and bruised)
  • Panda Leaves, 2 (knotted)
  • Sugar, 3 tablespoons 

Instructions:

  1. In a 1.5L Thermos® Shuttle Chef® inner pot, add in all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir the contents occasionally.
  2. When boiling, close the inner pot with lid and transfer it to the Shuttle Chef® outer pot. Let it sit aside to continue cooking for 1 hour.
  3. Serve immediately or chilled. Enjoy!

Notes:

  • This recipe is based on using the Thermos® Shuttle Chef® RPF-20. You may adjust the ingredient quantities based on the capacity of the Shuttle Chef®.
