4 DISNEY SHOWS YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS YEAR

If you are a Disney fan, then 2017 is going to be an exciting year for you. Not only is Disney releasing movies such as Cars 3 and the highly anticipated Beauty and the Beast, it is also producing kids-friendly TV animated series like Mickey and the Roadster Racers and Tangled Before Ever After.

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure
We thought we’ve already let it go but Frozen is back, featuring our beloved and ever so cute Olaf! He’s off on an adventure to discover a new family tradition for Elsa and Anna, but will he make it eventually? Catch the movie this holiday season to find out! 1. Mickey and the Roadster Racers
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, an animated series which accompanied us for the past 10 years, came to an end last year. But before we could express our dismay, Disney came up with a new animated series, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, perfect for preschoolers who are already missing the previous series! Premiered in January, the new show features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Daisy and Donald Duck, and their racing adventures around the world. Find out more here.

2. Cars 3
The third instalment in the Cars franchise returns to the big screen this year, and features Owen Wilson (Lightning McQueen), Cristela Alonzo (Cruz Ramirez), and Armie Hammer (Jackson Storm). This movie highlights include challenges faced by Lightning McQueen – a new generation of race cars ready to battle him, and sustaining injury from car crashes at the Piston Cup. Cars 3 will premiere in June.

3. Beauty and the Beast
Who doesn't love a movie that has Emma Watson (Hermione from Harry Potter) in it? A remake of Disney’s 1991 animated film, Beauty and the Beast will take the audience through a journey of love, humour, and adventure. The enchanting story follows a young woman named Belle, who is taken prisoner by the hideous Beast in his castle. The story takes a turn as Belle befriends the Beast’s enchanted staff and looks beyond Beast’s exteriors to see who he truly is. Beauty and the Beast will be in cinemas in March.

4. Tangled Before Ever After
Remember the 2010 movie Tangled? This year, Disney is introducing Tangled Before Ever After, a new animated series following the movie, made specially for the kids. The upcoming made-for-television series tells the story of Rapunzel’s secret adventure and her learning to embrace her hair after it magically grows back. This series continues to star Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as her lover Flynn Rider. It will be available on Disney Channel in March.
